Magnolia Project is proud to report that schools and students love our program.

All Magnolia Project middle school and high school students participate in pre and post experience surveying. The results of this surveying have helped us make concrete changes to our Pre-Exploration and Apprenticeship Curriculum to make it more effective and tailored to student needs, as well as improve the externship/internship placement offerings and mentor training.

Through student pre and post surveying, students that participated
in Magnolia Project Career Explorations and Apprenticeships reported:
We are currently undergoing a study with our district partners to look at the ways that our program impacts student attendance, engagement, and belongingness at school and in the community.

95% students
felt like their Career Exploration or Apprenticeship experience “helped them learn new skills, gain new ideas and explore new passions."
89% of students
rated their overall Magnolia Project Career Exploration or Apprenticeship experience (including Phases 1, 2 and 3 of the program) as “very or extremely positive."
80% of students
felt like their Career Explorations or Apprenticeship Program “prepared them for success in college and career."
96% of students
supported “an expansion of the Career Exploration or Apprenticeship Program” that would include more of Magnolia Project’s Ready2Go curriculum and off-campus externship or internship days with their mentor.
