Privacy policy

This policy describes information handled through the Magnolia Project website, operated by Magnolia Global Academy for Leaders, doing business as Magnolia Project. It covers website inquiries, newsletter subscriptions, donations, and technical information associated with visiting the site. Please do not include payment details, medical information, or other sensitive personal information in the contact form.

Information you provide and how it is used

The contact form asks for your name and email address and lets you provide an organization, inquiry topic, county and state, message, and news preference. Squarespace processes the form and sends a notification to Magnolia Project’s designated team inbox so the team can respond and follow up on your inquiry. Selecting the contact form’s news checkbox records that preference with your inquiry; it does not automatically subscribe you through Brevo. The separate newsletter form sends your email address to Brevo and uses email confirmation to complete your subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link in newsletter emails. Donations are handled by Give Lively and its payment services, which collect the information needed to process your gift. Give Lively shares donor information, such as name, email address, and donation amount, with the fundraising organization. Enter payment details only in the donation provider’s form.

Service providers, embedded content, and cookies

This site uses Squarespace for hosting and contact forms, Brevo for newsletter subscriptions, Give Lively for donations, and Google services including fonts, YouTube embeds, and reCAPTCHA spam protection. When these services load or you interact with them, their providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device details, and usage information, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Some embedded content loads with the page; county videos load after you select play. Provider processing is described in the privacy policies of Squarespace, Brevo, Give Lively, and Google. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; restricting them may affect forms or embedded features.

Your choices, records, and contact

You choose whether to submit an inquiry, subscribe, or donate. Submitted information may remain in the relevant form, email, newsletter, or donation records. To ask about information Magnolia Project holds, request a correction or deletion, withdraw a news preference, or raise a privacy concern, email info@magnolia-project.org, call (415) 501-0471, or write to Magnolia Project, 1410 Neotomas Ave, Suite 200, Santa Rosa, CA 95405. Requests involving records held independently by a service provider can also be directed to that provider. A deletion request may be subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations. This policy does not set a single retention period for all records. Changes to this website policy will be reflected in the updated date above.
